Not quite perfect

I say our Creator made a mistake when he created the human species, specifically, the female kind.

There are quite a few woman that I know that I find are real nice but at a certain time of the month they become monsters and dangerous to mankind. This time of the month is disaster time for both sexes - one runs for cover while the other throws everything that they can put their hands on, develops a vocabulary of words of their own and their imagination runs on overtime until the PMS is over. I'll let you guess which sex is which.

Alcoholism and drugs.

This little store at the corner by my place opens at 8:00 am. The other day I needed some bread so I went down to buy some first thing when it opened. I wasn't in that store 5 minutes when this woman came in and went straight to the fridge where the beer was. Less than a minute later she turned around and yelled at the lady at the counter, asking "Where is the Labatt's Blue?" The clerk at the counter answered her quite politely that they had ran out of it but that she would have some during the day. Believe it or not that clerk really got a speech from this alcoholic woman. I felt like telling the woman to get out.

Bribe money

Here we go again with Ontario provincial Liberals. Has anyone ever noticed this scenario? Throughout the term of the Liberals, if they are asked to contribute to a project that would serve the citizens better, they always claim that there is no money for it. But when it gets close to election time, somehow money reappears that was not supposed to be available because the province could not afford it.

Television: sickening

I was looking at the blog called Nonsensible Shoes this morning and there was an odd ad called 'We the People'.  I followed the link and where it says "News of the day" I read where it said 'Fall TV: Heavy on Sex'. I'm not sure why the ad turned up there but it led me to a thought about sex on TV;  really, what’s new?

The Federal Liberals

I was reading the Ottawa citizen this morning and I ran across an article about Bob Rae. In it he was discussing the loss the Liberals suffered in the last election in Quebec. The interim leader never mentioned that they did not get too many votes in any of the other provinces.

If they had gotten a reasonable amount of votes, they wouldn't have lost so many seats. He also stated that they have to try and regain the support of Quebec.

Whiners

I guess you might say that I’m just as bad as those I'm going to rant about now, because I rant about some thing every day. Yes, I rant everyday. But the reason I rant everyday is to show how stupid some of these people are.

Penny pinchers

I was listening to the radio station CFRA talk shows like I always do from Monday to Friday mornings. Some times the things I hear on there are unbelievable. According to the host of one of the talk shows this morning, he had some good news to tell the people of Ontario. It was also in the Ottawa Citizen this morning. The good news from Ottawa Hydro was that their hydro bill would be reduced by five cents a month starting next year.

OTC: Ottawa Transit union silliness

An Ottawa bus driver recently got caught driving on his route with passengers on his bus. A rider had taken a cell phone video of him, showing him filling out some kind of form while driving and even occasionally using his knees to hold the steering wheel. He also had a briefcase on his lap. Now the union wants to make it illegal to take a picture of the bus drivers. They claim its invading their privacy.

Using God as an excuse

Some people in Third World countries are using God as an excuse to torture and kill people. Quite often they then raise their arms and yell 'God is great'. Not only do they kill strangers but they are also just as quick to kill their own. Are these people suppose to be humans? When the killing is done simply because some people practice a different faith, and then they say 'God is great', they must be multiplying their chance of going straight to the lake of fire upon their death.

Looking for trouble

I took this out of the Ottawa citizen today Saturday July 30th.

OTTAWA — Secret shoppers working for the official languages commissioner are to fan out across the capital in mid-August to test whether they can get service in French.

This is what I mean when I argue that its mostly politicians that are causing this trouble with bilingualism.  Now they are going after the private sector. I hope they find what they are looking for because if not, then we are in for a lot of mumbling about bilingualism.

Celibacy

If anyone listens to a Catholic Priest as to why they take an oath of celibacy, they would find out that this oath is ridiculous.

Here is my reason for saying this: As a kid the Catholic Priest use to tell us that the oath of celibacy is to show that all your love is for God and God only, no one else. So it means that if you have intercourse, you can’t love that person. But according to the Bible it's considered lust and lust is considered a sin if you have an intercourse without love.

So we are screwed so to speak. If you have intercourse without love it's lust and if you love the person then your denying your love to God. Now what choice do we have? I made my choice a long time ago.

The Stoning of Soraya M.

I just finish watching this documentary/dramatization for about the third time. It's about a woman in Iran being stoned to death because of the archaic legal system and ruthless medieval mentality. It was even done under false pretenses too. I can’t believe that in this century this kind of inhumane conduct is still going on, and even being sanctioned by a government. This documentary begins with the claim that it’s a true story. I don't think there's any doubt that it is.

Canada - What a pitiful nation

Canada - what a pitiful nation.  I'm saying this as a Canadian, and I’m saying this because of who it seems we have left to elect to manage this nation.  The only decent party we have now to run this country is the Conservative party. We do have the opposition which is the NDP, but then they were only elected to get rid of the Liberals and the Bloc Quebecois, but we got more then what we bargain for with the NDP.

The Trial of Casey Anthony.

Before I write this I just want to make sure that everyone understands that what I’m going to write is entirely my opinion. Also, just to make sure, I am not accusing anyone of anything. Call me paranoid in the age of the Internet, I don't want to get in trouble for libel. That's why I'm saying this is just my opinion.

I previously mentioned in one of my post that I learned to more or less watch the expressions on people's faces when they would talk and walk and the way they would look at you. The ones that are truthful would look at you at eye level but the ones that lie would look at your forehead I guess thinking that you might think that they are looking at you at eye level. And at the same time their expression on their faces don’t match their statements.

Bread makers

A few posts ago I was complaining about appliances that looked good but weren't dependable. Still true. But I mentioned I would talk about bread makers and their recipe books next. So I am posting about it now. And I'm a post or two late, it wasn't next. Sue me.

Atheists

Yep.

I read a lot about these people - especially the ones in the USA. Here in Canada, I imagine we have some too but we don’t seem to hear too much from them. I think they know that it wouldn't do them any good to complain because they know that it would be useless for them to try to bully people with their non-believer bull here. We are a Christian nation and I doubt very much that these non-believers could change that. They could try but I think they would be wasting their time.
