Am I ever glad I’m not an American at this time. Being an American at this time is very bad because of the election that’s going to happen to see who will be the next president. What is left is Mr. Trump and Hillary Clinton. I would vote for Mr. Trump against my will. I figure it would be the lesser of two evils. As for Hillary there are so many things written against her that some of it has to be true. I put up a video of her destroying what they claim was evidence. My question would be why was she destroying it if there was nothing wrong? What about those lies about saying that she landed under fire and was told to run when everyone else was quiet and she had time to hug a kid? She was also shown to not be true by that video. No, to vote for her she would finish of the USA by continuing what Obama has started to do. Why so many people are voting for her I don’t know. The only thing I can see is that they don’t like their own country.

Warning to Canadian voters
To all the people who will be voting in the upcoming Canadian election:
I would suggest that you read your newspaper and listen to the news. I get the impression that if either the Liberals or the N.D.P. get elected we will be paying forever in higher taxes and burdened with more spending and a loss of jobs because of the taxes that those two parties would be implementing. Businesses will reduce their work force in order to keep the profits that they are getting now, or else the prices of all goods will be raised and there could be more unemployed workers that would be going on the E.I. payroll and also welfare. In fact welfare recipients would become a majority instead of being a minority group.

Provincial election in Ontario.
I was anxious to see how many Ontarians would vote for the provincial Liberals again. I will say that since these provincial Liberals were re-elected, the people of Ontario deserve what they will get. What will they get now, with a Liberal majority government? More years of screw ups. More taxes. Hydro bills will increase. They will also get whatever else the Liberal brain trust will think of to empty the citizens' wallets.
Why are those Liberals so popular? That would be my question of the month. Can’t people see what those Liberals have done to the province? Can't they see that the Liberals are still doing it? Are the citizens of Ontario so preoccupied by other things, that they haven’t time to find out what those Liberals are up to? Do Ontarians not listen to the news or read the newspaper?
Those Liberals remind me of the Democrats in the USA. They will do and say anything just to get elected and once elected they have in their mind “to hell with the voters, we were elected so we will do what we want." That means they will raise taxes and also tax whatever they want. McGuinty did it when he was premier, then when things got too hot he resigned and left. He got away with every wrong that he did.
I guess in the USA, liberals = Democrats and Canada liberals = Liberals. But the similarities are the big screw ups. I would add that this time the voters in Ontario screwed up too.
That is my rant of the day.

The Queen is gone
Yes, the Queen of the separatists in the Province of Québec is gone. In the recent provincial election, she even lost her seat in her own riding. Now as citizens of Quebec we are stuck with the Liberals once again.
Now what I’m asking myself is why there aren't a Conservative and NDP party on a ballot in the provincial elections of Québec. The last election we did away with the Liberals by voting for the Parti Quebecois. As we did not want the Liberals anymore. Now this time we voted for the Liberals to do away with the PQ. We had other choices but little was known about these other parties. I don’t know why we do not have them as we are part of Canada just like other provinces.
The people here have shown that if a group of politicians here start talking about separation you can be sure that on the following elections they will be gone. The citizens here realize that this province could not survive as a country by itself and many also realize that bill C101 is not doing the province much good either. This country has two languages -- French and English. If the English language is not accepted here in this province, how can we expect anyone from Ontario (at least) to come over to open a business? New businesses would profit the province and also prop up the economy. So why discourage that?

To the citizens of the USA
I never thought that a time would come that I would say I feel bad about what is happening to your country. On Election Day you elected a man to lead your country not only once but twice. He was elected by you people in good faith and trust to lead your country to prosperity. Well that person that you put your faith and trust in is leading your country to bankruptcy instead of prosperity
This man has ruined the reputation of your nation abroad. Since I’ve retired every morning I read all the news that I can find on every site that I can, and from what I’ve been reading according to everything that has been reported as to what this person has or has not done it amazes me to see how much patience most of you people have to still keep this person as your leader.
He is a big joke of the world leaders. They have no respect for him and they certainly don’t believe him. They definitely don’t fear him because they know that he’s all for diplomacy but takes no action even if diplomacy fails. I imagine they read the news they listen to the news they know about the lies and the lack of honor in his administration about the scandals the cover ups. He’s sabotaging the nation with the spending spree that he went on then the military cuts the nation has had to make because of that spree. Those cuts so much had to be made that it has affected the normal buying ability of the military to obtain what they would need to sustain a dragged out war. The results are clear. The military weakening means the security of the nation is undermined.
You people were taken in by a good talker. He had (and has) an agenda and it seems like he’s working on it and being successful at it. I am glad to say this is the last time I write about him. I mentioned previously that I would cut down on writing about him. It's been tough because he is such a bad leader.
I’ll do better than just cutting down writing about him; I’ll just forget him.

What America needs right now - an election
I would say what the United States needs now is an election. My reason for saying this is lack of leadership, the ignoring certain parts of the Constitution, and certain departments taking it upon themselves to make their own rules (to the point of invading the privacy of certain citizens, and especially reporters while using national security as an excuse to do so).
I will say to you, the people of America, that you have elected in the last election a leader of your country who is a person full of desire for diplomacy and who is all talk but no action when diplomacy fails.
Transparency that was promised during the election is long gone the way things are now with the scandals and lies. I actually think that the person that made that statement about transparency makes me think of a person that hears of a word and at the first opportunity uses it without knowing what it means. To get elected these politicians will say anything that they think will get them elected.
To be fair to the American people, you didn't have much of a choice. But the notion that the president is a leader, and transparent and honest are crumbling day by day with the contradictions (even by the president himself) and all the lies and cover ups. I would say that the last election was a waste of time or just an practice for the next election.
On the other hand, if there was a real leader in the White House right now, then a lot of people that are sitting on their butts ignoring the rules designated for each department and causing scandals like. A real leader would fire them right away unless that supposed to be leader has something to do with everything that is going on and afraid to fire them in case it back fires on him.
That is my rant and opinions of the day.

An outline of a poll conducted after the election in Quebec
I was reading the French paper back on September 8th and according to the poll that was done right after the election, most of Quebec figured that they wanted the Liberals out of power but they didn’t think that the other parties could do it. Meanwhile Pauline Marois has been in politics for so long and is so well known, that that’s the reason why she got the votes to win the election. But the poll also suggested that the people are not happy about this election.

Pauline Marois
The leader of the PQ party with her idea to insulate the French language against other languages will cause more harm than anything else. There are enough hard feelings against the French now without having a single-minded person elected as Premier of Quebec.

| Mais non Marois! |
Did she ever stop to think that if Ontario’s employers decided to band together and say, "that’s enough from the French, we will not hire anymore French from Quebec, we will only hire our own citizen from Ontario and even exclude the French from this Province"? Can anyone imagine the problems that it would create? We have a lot of people coming over here to do shopping and I guess that would stop and there would be no importing of any goods from this Province.
Some readers might say this guy has a bad imagination but I don’t think so. I’m just facing reality as to what could happen. It could become a reality, what would stop them from doing that? There’s no law against that. If you don’t want to take a chance of this happening then you know how to vote.
Say No to this Pauline Marois person who is only looking to make a name for herself without any regard for the consequences that her stupid ideas could have on the Province.
That’s my rant of today Je suis un Français et non pas Anglais.

Quebec election prediction
![]() |
| The face of victory? |
I guess whether I like it or not, the P.L.Q.'s Pauline Marois wins in this provincial election coming up.
She has stated what she was going to put into law. She is going to ensure that all English and immigrants that cannot speak French will not be allowed to obtain any kind of government job in Quebec. Not even the office of mayor. Immigrants will have to know French (at the government's expense) if they want to become citizens.
I read in the le Droit (the French paper) today that it seems that this Marois wants to make the English language disappear from Quebec -- she wants everything in French. I hope she doesn't win.
It should also be in the Sun newspaper at some point. Watch for it. This is a bad news election if she wins.

The "truth" about Obama
I hate to say this, but from what I’ve read, I would say that Obama will be elected again. I hope not, because as far as I’m concerned, his big ego is affecting his reasoning. What I find weird is that there was a lot of things said about him when he was running for the presidency but he made it in just the same. People are going to ask themselves what is the truth about Obama, and many are going to come to a different conclusion than Obama detractors might like.

Unbelievable election
![]() |
| It's true. |
I cannot believe after all the complaints against Premier McGuinty before the Ontario election, about his broken promises with regards to the taxes and Wind Mill contract, that he was elected yet again. True, he was only voted back in with a minority government. What this man has done to the province though, he should have been thrown right out completely. He was called a liar and a tax man and still voted back in. I can’t understand that.
I heard on television yesterday morning that he was back at work. I’m just wondering when he found out that he was voted back in and whether he was thinking about what he could tax next. Should I make a silly statement and say not to be surprised if he comes up with a tax on toilet tissue and call it a luxury tax? Who knows, maybe that's not all that far-fetched for him.

The morning talk show on the CFRA radio station
I was listening to the Lowell Green talk show this morning and one of the topics came up about the Liberal party and he was asking the people if they thought if the Liberal party would come back as power full as they were.
