Unbelievable election

It's true.

I cannot believe after all the complaints against Premier McGuinty before the Ontario election, about his broken promises with regards to the taxes and Wind Mill contract, that he was elected yet again.  True, he was only voted back in with a minority government. What this man has done to the province though,  he should have been thrown right out completely. He was called a liar and a tax man and still voted back in. I can’t understand that.

I heard on television yesterday morning that he was back at work. I’m just wondering when he found out that he was voted back in and whether he was thinking about what he could tax next. Should I make a silly statement and say not to be surprised if he comes up with a tax on toilet tissue and call it a luxury tax?  Who knows, maybe that's not all that far-fetched for him.

Roadside service

I’m wondering about these people that have roadside service selling hot dogs, french fries, hamburgers and whatever else.  Some of these people are in these stands 8 to 10 hours a day and maybe even more. They must have to go to the bathroom. Where do they do that? And do they wash their hands afterwards? If so, do they have enough water to use clean water each time they have to wash their hands?

This is potentially really, really disgusting. I can see the ones that are in the city can always go to a service station and wash up there, but what about the ones along the highway where there is no service station or  restaurant?

We all know that in every group there is at least one bad apple -  the one that has no consideration for other people. What that person thinks he or she can get away with,  will try to get away with it.

In other words you buy from one of these places and you might also be buying some one else’s germs or  disease.

Predictions

This isn't exactly a rant but more a comment on something I've read.  It's cross-posted on my B0b's Ghosts. Below are some predictions according to the book that had I mentioned previously called God’s Final Witness.

In this book it predicts that the end of the world will be on May, 27,2012 when Jesus Christ will return to earth. Prior to him returning to earth, there will be tribulations like we have never seen before and apparently it is already started with all these storms and earthquakes that are happening.

According to this book it says that there will be billions of deaths. There will be more terrorist attacks and eventually a Third World War. The USA will be the first to be attacked.

I just want to be clear so that no one thinks that this is my imagination - I have just quoted parts of what is written in this book. I also previously mentioned what they had predicted in 2006 what would happen to the economy in the USA and the credit rating. I tend to believe that these people know what they are talking about given that they were accurate about the collapse in 2008. Being an ex-Catholic, what I was taught and preached by them, minus the lies that they made up as scare tactics to make people believe that what they preached were true facts, they also predicted the end of the world but gave no date or year. They did mentioned about these 7 trumpets which is also mentioned in this book but I could never understand it except to say that to me it sounds like some kind of warning. According to this book one or two of those trumpets have already sounded.

Are you clean?

I'd rather shower.

While taking a shower this morning and then rinsing the soap off me, I watched the soap run off and then a thought came to my mind about when someone takes a bath.

They fill up the bath tub get everything ready - towel, soap, shampoo and whatever else they need. Then they wash and after they are finished, they come out and think that they are clean. Well I don’t think that they are. I would prefer a shower and when you come out, then you can claim to be clean.

Dual personality

I don’t know for sure but to me, alcohol seems to brings out a second personality in some people after a certain amount has been consumed. I know some people that have a nice personality and they would give you the moon if they could. After consuming a certain amount of alcohol, they are not the same people at all. These people do not have any friends or family at all. Once the alcohol hits their brain they become strangers.

That is where in their mind, they are the best in the world and they know it all, and as for the language that they use, it is unforgivable. They must think that they are immune to everything. It’s too bad alcohol works like that on some people's mind. They don’t think of other people's feelings either. They think only of their own feelings - don’t try to have a talk with them. Once they are under the influence, they are the only ones that can talk.

It’s not tobacco that the government should try to stop people from using, its alcohol they should try and stop. Alcohol causes just as much problems in this world as does money. I have never heard of an accident or robbery because of someone being under the influence of Nicotine.

That is my rant of the day.

The Premier of Ontario

I don’t even want to write his name down the way he’s putting himself first before the province of Ontario.

Now what?

So now there are talks about some Liberals wanting to merge with the NDP, according to what was reported on something on the television about a week ago. Bob Rae was on and when he was asked about it, he said no and Justin Trudeau the son of the departed former Prime Minister P.E. Trudeau said it was worth talking about. Bob Rae is against that because he has been saying all this time that he wants to rebuild the Liberal party. I get the impression that if he can rebuild the party that he would position himself as being the first to be elected by the party to be their full time leader. By joining the with NDP, he would be out of luck. After all he left that party for what he considered greener pastures.
