The president wants respect.

On Fox News there is a video entitled something along the lines of "the president wants respect and wants people to like him". Well Mr. President in order to have people respect you that is something that you have to earn and so far can you tell us what you have accomplish  in order to be respected and liked? As I can see you have ruined the reputation of the USA. You have lied to the people and made more enemies towards the USA by trying to pretend that you know everything, and insisting that everyone should have the same opinions that you come up with. It's because you have an ego that is so big that to you, everyone that doesn’t agree with are wrong. I know people with oversized egos and they don’t last long on a job or with being capable of keeping friends.

Before you came along the USA had a reputation that could not be disputed and diplomacy was used to a certain extent and every leader of other countries realized that. Now the USA has become the big laugh of the world because the US citizens thought they had voted someone in to be a good leader but what did they get?  A person that is a good talker, but full of indefinite diplomacy and deceitfulness.

The loss of respect

I used to have respect for the USA. Since I started getting more interested in what was going on politically and reading about most of the things that are happening. I can honestly say that I can’t see this nation survive without a leader and I mean a leader and not someone that can talk like one but can’t lead like one.

This loss of respect is not only because they have no leader to speak of or because of the scandals that are happening lately but for what is going on about more citizens turning against Christianity. The results of all this disorganization seems to have spread not only to some government departments but to schools, colleges and universities. It has spread to people that are supposed to be intelligent and mature enough to educate the kids but it seems that some of them have become dictators and think that they own the schools, colleges and universities.

For quite a while now, almost every day on Fox News we could read about the schools calling the police for a kid that was misbehaving in some way. For instance a kid was chewing something and when it came out of his mouth it was the shape of a revolver and the kid was suspended. On another occasion shown in a video, a kid on a school bus had a little plastic in the shape of a revolver not even the size of a dime. They were taping a kid to his chair, putting a kid in a small room for punishment, and what about the kid that couldn’t talk and in order to spell his name it made the sign of a revolver so they wanted him to change his name because of that.

Also a video was shown about a teacher abusing a student verbally and this morning a picture on Fox News was shown a grade 8 student who went to school with a tee shirt that had a picture of a long rifle and the word NRA and when the student refused to take it off as he was told, the teacher called the police. When the police came apparently the student was charged because he wouldn’t keep his mouth shut and as a result was apparently charged for obstructing the police.

This student could face a fine or jail time. Also reports about some teachers did not approve the student’s length of his hair the color that it was dyed. I could keep on with examples like this but I won’t. All of this has been reported on the news and you have probably already seen one example for yourself there. 

The point is that the president has little respect for his office or the people of America.  People have lost respect for Christianity.  And teachers have lost respect for their students and the liberties granted by the Constitution.  With all of that self-respect gone, how does America expect people of other nations to give them respect?  It doesn't add up.

My rants for today.

Respect for America is disappearing

The respect that was once given to the USA by the rest of the world, it seems that it has been replace by disrespect, hatefulness and mistrust by a lot of countries -- even countries that are supposed to be friends of the USA. If all the reports from the media are to be believed there is always one country that always has something to say against the USA.

We hear a lot about diplomacy which is good, because with the weapons that have been developed, this has become a dangerous world. Without diplomacy, it could be a disaster. There is such a thing as diplomacy being used to gain time to finish whatever an enemy would want to accomplish and therefore diplomacy becomes a tool for the enemy of a country if its keeps on and on without any sign of showing results.

Iran is a good example of this. That is the impression I get from reading the news. How many times there were meetings in regards to their nuclear ambitions? It has all been to no avail. Diplomacy works most of the time but when it's stretched too far it becomes a tool for the enemy. North Korea without any diplomacy could have brought on a disaster.  But the tyrants there could have been wiped off the map.  This time diplomacy from the USA and China may have worked.

What surprised me is that the president of the USA sending B2 bombers to show what North Korea would have to deal with if they didn't stand down. Now I wonder if a show of force would work the same with the Iranians. I really think that it will happen eventually, because I don’t think that these people will stop working to obtain nuclear bombs. They’re determent to do away with Israel.  I just hope that diplomacy is not pushed too far that it would give them time achieve their goal.

No respect and no feelings

Reading the news and listening to some of the people’s conversations  around me, I find that respect and feelings for others is almost a thing of the past.

While reading the news on Fox recently, I came across a little headline about a mom in Greenville South Carolina who received a  $50 invoice to clean the street.  She was to pay for the clean up the blood left by her son when he was hit and killed by a drunk driver, and to pay to have the car towed away   In fact, he was killed by an illegal immigrant driving drunk and driving without a driving permit. He received a sentence of 17 years in jail after pleading guilty. 

Can you imagine the feeling of having to pay to clean up your dead  son’s  blood because of a drunken driver? That driver should have been charged with manslaughter or murder and given life in jail.

The person that is responsible for that letter to her should look in the mirror to see if he/she is a human being and try to figure out if they have has a conscience.
