What’s on my mind today?

There are soldiers that have lost their lives for people that do not show any gratitude or respect for them. In countries that have asked for help, not only are some of the citizens guilty of this, but also government officials. In Afghanistan, leader Hamid Karzai is a great example of this.  The United States did not go to war in Afghanistan to protect him, but for their own reasons.  Nevertheless, they have spent countless billions trying to restore the nation and defend it from it's own Taliban extremists within.  Most of these countries it seems, want help in defending themselves against the Jihadists, but on their own terms only.  Most of these countries don’t want foreign troops on the ground.  At least not for long anyway.

These countries want help financially. They also want weapons but they don’t want troops on their land. The only recourse that comes to mind if we want to help them on their terms, would be to use drones or fighter jets to strike at targets strategically.  But then if a civilian is killed then they put up a fuss.  War is a dirty business and fighting terrorism is no different.  There are risks in fighting it, there are unfortunate casualties in fighting it.  But the alternative (giving up) is far worse of an option.
Some countries want to get help in getting the Jihadists out of their country, but then at the same time, it seems that they are protecting them by their own actions and words. President Karzai from Afghanistan can’t make up his mind about having some troops left in the country after most of the troops are pulled out. Does he think that the Jihadists will stop their rampage of murdering and torture just because the troops have left? By refusing to sign a deal with the U.S., it looks like he’s protecting the same people that are killing and torturing his people.

Pakistan, is another example.  How many years did they deny that Bin Laden was in their country? He was one of the worst Jihadists in the world. Pakistan was collecting aid from the United States all the while harboring the target the U.S. was after.  I guess it was a money maker for them to keep that up.

Jihadists need to be eradicated, make no mistake.  Some countries just don't seem to realize the danger of dealing with jihadists with half measures.  Jihadists either make it a sport of killing or torturing people because of the radicals that have supplanted Muslim faith with their own way of showing their faith in God. I would also say some are doing it just because they want to kill and torture and are using religion as their excuse.  If that doesn't make a case for really fighting terrorism to some of these countries, then probably nothing will.

That’s my rant of the day.

Have a good day.

Pakistan

Those of us that keep up with the news from multiple sources, especially on this site dawn.com, are very aware of the complaints about the U.S. attacks from drones. If anyone has been reading the news on this site it’s easy to see that Pakistan is more or less a refuge for militants. Why is that? Is it because the Pakistan government in some ways protecting these militants? If they’re not then why are there so many militants taking refuge in that country? It seems to be a haven for them.
The killings that are done of Pakistan’s citizens by the militants should overshadow the killings done by drones. That is the reason why I can’t understand what all the complaints are all about. Their excuse is that some civilians get kill in those attacks. Yes no doubt that is true - some civilians do get killed. But that would be accidental. On the other hand, with the militants it’s not accidental; it’s done on purpose.
I have a solution but I don’t think that it would be too popular. My solution would be to leave these third world countries alone and let them go on about their business and to govern their countries as they see fit and if they want to do any trading with the western world so be it. If this was to happen and a Jihadist were still to kill the citizens, then if possible, find out from where this killer came from and go into that country shoot and blast everything in sight. Because we all know that the non-Jihadists will not try and stop a Jihadist, so therefore they would be just as guilty by not doing anything about it.

I think just the fact that they know no one will interfere in their country might stop a lot of killings done for no reason. I might be wrong but I think  there are two things that drive these jihadists to hate to the point of killings  (1) is the nations from the Western world trying to tell them how to run their country and (2) the biggest reason is their faith -- they would want everyone to believe in their faith which will never happen (I hope).
That’s my rant and opinions of the day

Drones

Now here is an aircraft that was built to destroy life without endangering the life of the one that guides it. This is another of man’s invention to take human/s life. And for what? Is it just to gain power over another nation or just to be greedy? This is the kind of aircraft I believe that could be built to be invisible to radar and be armed to pull off a sneak attack on a nation’s enemies.

Pakistan.

Last week instead of going to Fox News, I thought I would go to this site www.Dawn.com to read some of their news. When the site opened, the first article I spotted was this article. Imran Khan’s demand for the shooting down of drones. Also in this same article it states that many Pakistanis are surprised over Imran Khan’s demand for striking down drones.

I realize that they are saying that drones do kill civilians, of course there would be a great chance of killing civilians and I agree with that. But if a house that was targeted next to another house or if there was someone other than known terrorist and who happens to be just a citizen but in the house where the terrorist was targeted then that so called citizens either is a friend of them or is an unknowing terrorist sympathizer. If that is the case then either they deserve the same treatment.

I don’t condone the killing of innocent people either, but the killings that are done by those terrorist of the Pakistanis citizens overshadows the killings being done by the drones. I can only think of two reasons why a person would want to stop something like the drone program. Is it really for the protection of the citizens or the protection of those terrorist to stop them from killing more citizens? When it was proven that drones did a lot of damage to the terrorist especially the leaders?

I don’t think that stopping the drones will stop these terrorist in fact, it will encourage them to push for more to obtain what they want (worldwide Sharia law), and do away with all these unfaithful people that don’t believe in the same faith that they do.

Those who seek to subvert Christianity are gaining ground here in Canada and the USA, but they are called atheist not Muslims. Only so far there was no mention of anyone getting killed or tortured for their belief. I guess give it time and it will come and I don’t think that time is too far away. In every country there are some people that have very sadistic minds and it only something like this gets them to come out of the closet.

That is my rant of the day.

Have a good day and may God bless those poor lost Souls.
