Listened to CPAC

Yesterday while looking for news. I happened upon this article and video.  It was Sarah Palin speaking at CPAC recently.

I usually don’t listen to what she has to say because of the fact that when she gets exited her voice goes to a squeaky tone when she really wants to emphasize the message that she is trying to make. I had turned the video on just as my son came in the room and even though I was talking to him, I could hear what Palin had to say.

When my son left I decided to listen to the whole thing and all I can say is, this woman speaks from the heart and not from the lower part of her body where the sun doesn’t shine.

After Palin spoke, Dr. Ben Carson spoke and according to him I guess someone doesn’t like what he has to say so they are trying to stop him from from speaking at some meeting (I don’t remember where but it’s on the video).

I’ve been reading and listening to some politicians spewing their garbage. After listening to Mrs. Palin and Dr. Ben Carson, to me what they said was just like fresh air. It was easy to tell that these two people like their country and the people in it. Those are the type of people that should be in a position to have anything to do to have a country running as smoothly as possible.  It would be far better than the disorganization and scandals and lies and hypocrisy that the citizens are getting now from the government.

That is my rant of the day.

Syria?

With regards to Syria, no one seems to know what to do about the chemicals weapons that are stored in that country. Some people are talking about attacking Syria and to some it would only aggravate matters.

Not getting too many comments.

I'm just not getting to many comments on my posts. Surely what I write can’t be bad enough that I don’t get too many comments? Well here is something I hope will get me some comments and I expect if I do some will be bad, and maybe some will be good ones.

What I would like to see next election get elected if she decides to run and that would be Sarah Palin and as vice President John McCain. This lady I’ve listened to many of her speeches and I will admit that when she emphasizes something in her speeches she has a screeching voice but, that’s beside the point.

When Palin decides to give a speech what she says comes from the heart and not only from the lips; as she tells it as it is and there are no two ways about it. She shows herself to be a real American and I really think that she could be a great leader. I agree she would be new at this, but she seems to have more knowledge of the Constitution and doesn’t seem like the kind of person that would ignore certain parts of the Constitution to satisfy her ego (like Obama, the supposed to be leader).

Besides she did serve as a governor, so she would have a good start not only politically but also with the experience of governing. True, I did read that there was some kind of disagreement while she was serving as governor but from what I read and it was absolutely nothing as bad as what is going on with the present administration.

Mr. McCain seems to be another American at heart. I think he would be good as vice president but he’s the type that would seem to be short on diplomacy; a certain amount of diplomacy would be needed to help America get back on track. I think if there was a president that could hold him back because he is a military man and might be too much in a hurry to use diplomacy and cast it aside - that could cause serious problems.

What the USA needs now is a good leader and to bring back the USA to the reputation that it had tit for tat on the killers of Americans and to make sure that these Jihadist are not protected by diplomacy, like it is at this time.

Those are my opinions of the day.

We are in trouble - politically

We in Canada are in trouble, politician -wise.  Here are my reasons for saying this.

We have the Conservative party which at this time seemed to be the best pick. Then we  have  the  opposition    New  Democrats  with a new  leader who doesn't seem to know  what his job is.  According to his statements so far he is all for the unions and all for socialism. Of course his party  is too. Then there are the Liberals with a leader that has shown us as a leader he leaves a lot to be desired. Getting down to the third/fourth tier, there is  the Green party, which is as far as  I’m  concerned  a lost cause. We are just as  bad provincially  in Quebec and Ontario with the Liberals in charge.

That is my little rant of the day - something to think about. I might have a solution. We should try and find some one like Sarah Palin to straighten them out.  Like her or not, she stands up to the establishment. Canadian politics, regardless of party is nothing but establishment. We need either fresh faces or a fresh system, because the parties as they are, don't really change much and when they do, they typically just make matters worse.

Have a great day.
