Dithering on Keystone

What is the matter with president Obama? Why is he dithering on a decision to accept the Keystone pipeline when there are so many in the USA that would gladly accept it? They would gladly accept the jobs, gladly accept the impact on lowering oil prices, gladly accept the decreased dependence on oil supplied from volatile regions o the world. Is it because he would rather buy from nations that are not too friendly with the US or did someone offer him a good sum of money to refuse it? The excuse given (which I find very weak) is because of the environment. What about those rail tanker crashes? What about the Exxon Valdez oil spill of Alaska a few decades ago. The president doesn't seem to realize that the world is not ready to run everything off of solar power and HOPE. Or is it something else altogether but will not tell us?

The big question should be this: would the US profit by buying the oil from a friendly country like Canada? The answer is definitively YES. The US would benefit with jobs and cheaper oil. But of course this could never be done because it might prop up the economy and it seems in the Obama administration that would be a no-can-do option.

That’s my little rant of the day.

Keystone XL pipeline

According to what I’ve read, it seems by the way that it’s written that Obama is the only one to blame for not giving the okay for the pipe line. I would disagree with that thinking. I would rather think that some Democrats and Republicans might have some interest with some competitors and are willing to sacrifice the creation of jobs for the American people because of their greed for money.

I would say it would be safe for them to blame Obama. It seems to have become a fad on blaming him for almost everything that has gone wrong since he was elected. Myself, I wouldn’t trust him. Could it be that because of his yes men, he hesitates to put his name on the dotted line as he wouldn’t want to offend anyone?

If what I’m claiming the reasons to be for Keystone XL not going ahead are true, then it’s true that some people have no regards for the welfare of the nation, preferring to serve their own wallet.  These sorts of people have no business being in a position where they can put themselves ahead of the good of the nation.

Obama has done enough things he can be blamed for and doesn’t need any help to be partly blamed for something that he might want to do.

That is my rant and my opinions of the day.

Keystone Pipeline

When I went to the site NewsMax the other morning, the first thing I noticed in the head line was how Obama disputing about how many jobs this pipeline would create. He claims that it might create 2000 jobs while building it then to about 100 to 50 afterwards. Then he goes on to say that it would reduce the price of gas and also he mentions the pollution that it would create.

Well Mr. Obama, first of all wouldn’t be cheaper to get the oil from Canada then of all the expenses of importing it from those countries that are thousands of miles away? By taking the oil from Canada wouldn’t be safer and cheaper than having it shipped from those countries and taking a chance that something could happen to the ships carrying it and having a big oil shipment dumped in the ocean? I also read in the same article that you’re worried about the pollution of that oil.

Now I don’t see your logic about your thoughts on the pollution of this oil. This oil Mr. Obama will be sold and it will be sold to countries that might not be as well equipped to deal with the pollution as the USA might be. I can honestly say that you will not be able to convince the people that there is a corridor over the USA air space that will prevent the pollution from coming over. This is just like your attempting to make them believe that all those scandals your administration is involved in are phony.

If by chance you can convince the people that no pollution can invade the air space over the USA, then they deserve to have you as a leader.

That is my beef for today
