Comments

What is this world coming to? It seems that the time has come that you’re not allowed to express yourself with a comment that you write on Facebook without it being deleted (and you don’t even have to use foul language for it to happen). Now I don’t know if it’s someone from Facebook or someone that would like a job as a dictator who is practicing on how to do it on Facebook. I can see comments being deleted for using foul language or something that would contain racism or hateful comments about someone or involving criminality and or violence. Otherwise I can’t understand why they would ask you for a comment if the intent is to delete your comment just because they don’t understand it or can’t tell the difference in what you’re expressing.

I would say before he/she/them start deleting people's comments they/he/she should keep up with the times and listen to the news and read the news to find out what is going on in this world. If they did that then and only then would they know when a comment would be inappropriate. Otherwise hands off.

I was watching some videos  this morning and I came across this guy.  Apparently he's somewhat famous but the stuff he says is a little confusing.  If you've heard of him or his commentary, please comment and let me know what you think.

Response to a comment

This is in response to a comment I received from a lady who claims to be Ruth Fitzwater (I’m not disputing the name, I have to take her word for it). By the comment that she made I would say this lady can read something in black and white and just not understand it. 

She seems to be the type of a person that reads some things but doesn’t understand the messages behind them and so she jumps to a wrong conclusion and insults people because she doesn’t seem to have a brain that can decipher the message that is written in plain black and white.

Lady, I wouldn’t be surprised if you had kept that insulting comment that you made. People like you would do that, because you would think that no one would dare answer you or see how ignorant a person of your caliber can be. You accused me of being a person facilitating Islamists to bring their religion over here, just because I made a couple comments comparing how many times the Islamist pray a day and what parts of the body a woman can show to point out the differences in Islamist and Catholics laws and cultures.

Also you talk about catechism. I believe that I have studied that little book before your parents ever thought of having a girl and to call her Ruth. I went to a Catholic school and we had to know our catechism before we were even confirmed.

I will tell you that you would be the one that would discourage people from following your faith because what is causing the problems in this world today is people like you that don’t seem to know too much about anything except what you seem to really care about (like your little catechism).

That’s your excuse to make life miserable for some people by pushing your beliefs on them. That’s why people are tired of listening to people like you trying to preach your beliefs from a little book that seems to be your life. You and the ones like you that refuse to live and let live are causing others to lose faith. And facilitating the entrance of the Islam faith which is known for killings and torture of humans of different faiths.

Before trying to educate people on the real things in life like the third world countries and their law and how these countries were started and how religions started and who started them and also try and get a book on Bible history and you will see where all these crimes of killings of other human beings was started. This book was used to be studied in the Catholic schools. I have to stop because my blood pressure is shooting high when I think of the type of people we have in this forsaken world.

I hope you enjoyed this little lesson/ But you can keep your comments coming because I enjoy reading from people that don’t know what they are talking about and insist on dictating the little book of catechism. I must tell you that my only faith is that there is only one God but I would not make people miserable by pushing my beliefs on them. A day will come soon when everyone will be judged by a real judged the Creator of all things. If you haven’t lived by the 10 Commandments your soul will be incinerated like a lot of us.

Do unto others as you would have others do unto you. To me it also means don’t accuse others for your own stupidity of not understanding what is written.

Finally, a comment.

Finally a comment. I say that because I don’t get too many comments on my other blog Bob's Ghosts and recently there was one. It was submitted anonymously.

After reading the comment from this person I was wondering if I should respond to it. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to respond, because I figured that a person who would think of that sort of comment, would have had a big headache from the effort because his or her brain would have had to work overtime.

Since I don’t like to hurt people mentally or physically I figured a little response would maybe make the person feel better.

Here is the comment:

God almighty! Really? When the radical Islamists take over? Some "Land of the Free and home of the Brave" we've got today, eh? Jesus, it's like saying the Mormons are going to eventually take over the country because they have like, 8-10 kids each! What a moron you are. Tell you what; why not build a bunker, like during the height of the cold war? Then lock the door behind you. You nut job.

Moron and nut job? When someone resorts to name calling they don't have a real argument to make.

Think before you type is all I can suggest.

You'll notice I said 'IF the radical Islamists manage to take over ANY nation'. In fact, they took over in Afghanistan and were beheading women during half time at soccer games. http://www.rawa.org/murder-w.htm

It’s real, and even though we are not in Afghanistan, thinking that it will never happen here is just the inattentiveness that is necessary for it to happen someday. Will it? I don't know. Could it? Absolutely.

That is my beef for today.

What I was told as a kid

On one of my older post, I mentioned that when I was a young kid just starting school, I was enrolled in a Catholic school.  I also mention this priest always around and he used to tell us passages from the Bible. I remember one passage that he quoted “ When the end of the world is near, more and more people will deny God.” I’m beginning to think he spoke the truth.

With all the problems going on in this world these days, the killings, the refusal by many of having anything that represents any kind of religion, or any prayers in some institutions, Christian being looked upon like woman are in third world countries, and atheist gaining more and more popularity, I think he spoke the truth.

Since the one above is a small one I will add this other short one.

I was reading comments where some people were commenting on a story that the Sun newspaper ran  regarding the Quebec election about some people not being able to vote because their names were not on the list.

Sure enough as expected, comments such as “ Quebec province is corrupt and they must have English names and that’s why they weren't allowed to vote.” The person that said that, I can honestly say, he doesn't know what he’s talking about, because my next door neighbor is French with a French name and he was refused because his name was not on the list.

I must say, there are things that are screwed up in this province, just like Ontario,  and corruption just like Ontario. All I can say to these misinformed commenters is get your facts straight before commenting on some things.

Response to a comment.

This is in a reference to a comment that was made by another blogger in response to a post I wrote. The post was about the President not mentioning God in his Thanksgiving speech. This was his comment:

“However, I don't agree that Christians should keep quiet. They tried that in Rome and got fed to lions. Christians stating their opinion, where it contradicts the president is completely acceptable.” 

I agree in a sense that it was a good response but that was in the old days. The civilization in those days, if you want to call it that, was not as civilized as we are today. 

This is the 21st century.  I’m not saying those so called Christians should be punished for saying what they believe. I’m just saying to keep their thoughts to themselves and when election time comes then try to make a change for what they believe. Myself I believe in the words of the Bible and in one of the commandments it says “Though shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor”.

Now some of what they accuse him of might and might not be true - who knows? These days, wagging tongues work overtime and sometimes it's jealousy that makes them wag. And it could be something else that I will not mention.

As far as him doing the job that he was elected to do, I could not say if he does or not

That’s my rant for today.
