Is expressing ones opinion a thing of the past?

On the 23rd day of March I opened Facebook and there was an advertisement about the Liberals and the Conservative. I dared to express my opinion about the Liberals and I also included the NDP. Now mind you, there was no foul language. I wrote down my opinion as politely as possible and my opinion was that the Liberals and the NDP to me equaled socialism. No sooner had I inserted my period at the end of socialism that a little window popped up to inform me “that my comment was blocked.” Doesn’t blocking my opinion prove that my comment was right on?

I guess a lot of things that are happening like ignoring the Constitution in the USA by the self-appointed King Obama to advance his agenda, which is affecting free expression and speech, is leaking here into Canada.

The leader of the Liberal provincial party of Ontario is dictating how to teach sex to students. That started in the USA as well. I guess next she will be trying to tell the parents of the kids that bring their lunch to school what to feed their kids and if the teachers don’t agree with what the kids have for lunch they will have to buy their lunch at school. From what I’ve seen in a video of those lunches from school is nothing but garbage as far as sustaining a kid's energy for a day at school.

All I can say is that copying what is going on in the USA politically will be the downfall not only of the USA but also this country (Canada). If their kind of politics is affecting this country, not the system, the politics, it's not good for Canada. From what I can see , the USA will not last until the next presidential election. Or it will be lucky to do so. What used to be a God fearing nation has become a non-God-fearing nation for not wanting to hurt other people’s feelings that don’t believe in Christianity. In fact it seems that a sort of reverse racism has taken over.

Loss of revenue to OPEC Countries

How much money would be saved if America would stop importing oil from OPEC countries? Now Mr. Obama has even admitted himself that he is sympathetic to the Muslim faith and being so, would he want the USA stop importing oil from a Muslim OPEC country? No. I really believe that to be the reason why he offers all kinds of reason for not approving the Keystone XL pipeline or allowing more drilling in the USA. This supposed to be leader's agenda is to destroy the USA. He is doing a good job at it.

He must also realize that importing oil from a friendly country (Canada, via Keystone) with more safety for the delivery and cheaper than transporting it by rail or trucks is a good thing. He must also realize it would add jobs to the American people and boost the economy which is what the USA needs at this time. He has offered all kinds of excuses for not allowing it to happen. His excuses have all been proven to be wrong. I could be wrong in my opinion but that’s what it seems to be. I also think that he is thinking of the loss of revenue to those Muslim OPEC countries. Importing oil from Canada and producing more domestically in the USA would clearly be beneficial to the economy of the USA. Both would offer more jobs and cheaper, safer oil. Even if it didn’t offer to have as many jobs as predicted it would still be cheaper than importing it from the other side of the pond. I know I will be put down as a racist (which seems to be a fad lately in the USA) because I mentioned a specific faith or because of the president's skin color. I don’t care about color or faith - my opinions are based on what makes sense for the country. I can assure you that I’m not a racist. Whether you are black or white or any color we are all still humans.

My opinions are based on what I read and by watching videos of the news. If I’m wrong well I’m wrong. But that's all I am, not racist.

Continuation of the late night thought

Yesterday I posted about falling asleep and my thought meandering over to aliens.  I guess we would know who aliens are and what they look like if the government would tell us the truth about them.  I'm referring to the government of the USA that is. Apparently they have files on them they also know what they look like because of one of those UFOs having crashed in Roswell New Mexico in the USA. According to what was reported, there were alien bodies recovered from that crash. I wonder why the government of the USA is keeping it a secret from its citizens. Could it be that they are scared that it would create a panic beyond control?

Random late night thoughts

Has anyone ever noticed the weird things that pop into one's mind while trying to go to sleep? The other night I was in bed at 11:00 pm which is early for me because I’m usually on the computer until 4:00 or 4:30 am. That's just me and my unusual sleeping patterns. I was just lying there trying to convince myself to go to sleep but to no avail. After a while something weird popped into my mind and my thoughts were on the Bible and God's creation of mankind.

In the Bible or any other religious texts, there is no mention (to my knowledge) of God having created any humans on other planets. Then my thoughts fell on how they (aliens) might travel in their spaceships. Then I started thinking about the sudden turns at high speeds that people often claim to see, which a human couldn’t withstand. The G-forces on the body would kill a human. Lately there have been reports of quite a number of appearances. All I can say is that whatever kind of creature they are, they seem to be of high intelligence.

In any case it was an interesting train of thought that traveled all over the place, and that seems to be more common closer to bedtime.

There's a sucker born every minute

This is my rant of the day: People are gullible. No, in fact it's worse: too many people are too gullible.

Yesterday I was surfing the net and I came across this crazy story about two people being arrested for selling tickets to Heaven for $99.99. No kidding.

Tito and Amanda Watts were arrested over the weekend for selling “golden tickets to heaven” to hundreds of people. The couple, who sold the tickets on the street for $99.99 per ticket, told buyers the tickets were made from solid gold and each ticket reserved the buyer a spot in heaven — simply present the ticket at the pearly gates and you’re in.

Anyone dumb enough to buy them is not just gullible, they are an idiot. Especially after you hear the back story behind how the tickets came to these two:

I don’t care what the police say. The tickets are solid gold… it ain’t cut up two by fours I spray painted gold. And it was Jesus who give them to me behind the KFC and said to sell them so I could get me some money to go to outer space. I met an alien named Stevie who said if I got the cash together he’d take me and my wife on his flying saucer to his planet that’s made entirely of crack cocaine. You can smoke all the crack cocaine there you want… totally free. So, try to send an innocent man to jail and see what happens. You should arrest Jesus because he’s the one that gave me the golden tickets and said to sell them. I’m willing to wear a wire and set Jesus up…

That's just funny. Clearly a couple of crack addicts could be messed up enough to believe this is true. All I can say is that the men in the white coats better get busy and start chasing these guys. But who were their customers? Those are the gullible people. Apparently the police have seized thousands of dollars from the sale of those tickets to be admitted to Heaven.

Now I no longer need to question why president Obama was elected - twice. People are too gullible. There's a sucker born every minute. Maybe 3 or 4 suckers per minute. Still don't believe me that people are gullible? Take a look at the garbage people are buying on eBay:

Name calling.

Tonight I was checking out the comments on this article. I was surprised to read that in most comments the first person that gets called names is Obama. Not just on that site, but in a lot of places.  I don't like him and I think he's a terrible president, but calling someone names is juvenile.  More importantly, don’t you people realize that a man with a big ego like he has, name calling only makes matters worse? This man is whittling down the nation bit by bit and calling him all those names will only encourage him to try and control and change the country to his liking more and more? Why?  Because he wants everyone to think the way he does.  Calling him names probably makes him even more inclined to do things to the extent of ignoring the Constitution and creating laws (or circumventing them) to enable him to advance his agenda. This man is in a good position to do that and he is doing it.  He knows that no one will try to impeach him because the groups that are supposed to represent the citizens seem to be worried that if they try to impeach him and fail, come next election, they will be voted out. I noticed how far the country has lost its reputation since this man has been elected.

The radicals are having a ball because they know that they can do whatever they want and get away with it because the supposed to be the leader of a once great nation is nothing but talk. I am 80 years old and I have never heard of citizens being as full of complaints against their leader as I hear since this man has been elected. Also some citizens look up and talk about him as if he was a god.

Well that’s all I have to say on this rant except to say as the saying goes “give a person enough rope and he will hang himself or herself.” 

A deal with radicals?

I'm talking about Iran. How can the president of the United States make a deal with radicals who support those who commit suicide in order to kill people of different faiths in the belief that means to become a martyr and the reward of having virgins upon their death? Anyone that would believe that must be out of their minds, if they ever had a brain to start off with. Radicals will say and do everything to make people think that their way of thinking is the only logical way to save their soul upon death and having their reward. And Iran tries to secretly support these radicals anywhere, and any way they can. And the president of the United States wants to make a deal with Iran. Why on earth would he want to do that?

Iran are no different from the other Muslims they support. Iranian leadership are sneaky and full of lies. Then again, it's just like their new friend that is the self-appointed king of the USA. So maybe making the deal, for them, makes sense. But therefore we cannot be sure that they will be keeping to the agreement that is supposedly designed to keep them from having a nuclear bomb.

At the same time they have plenty of time to finish developing one before the agreement is signed in three months’ time. My mind tells me that they have had a good start at building one that another three months is maybe all that they need to finish it. They won’t have to worry about using it as they have China and Russia to back them up most of the time. The way things are in the USA I don’t think that Iran are worried about the USA going against them because the king has shown himself to be quite sympathetic to the Muslim faith and no doubt he would side with the Muslims if he had a choice.

With all the things that have happened (since Obama was elected) not only in the USA but in many third world countries. it’s a wonder that he hasn’t been impeached or thrown in jail for dereliction of duty as Commander in Chief. And domestically in the USA things are no better. Racism has come back with him and Sharpton and Holder/ People are increasingly giving up on their faith and third world countries are in shambles in staggering numbers. The USA is no longer recognizable by its citizens and indeed the whole world. It has become a joke and a laugh for all the world now.

That is my rant of the day.
