All about beliefs [Part 2 of 2]

Continued from yesterday.  Here are some more thoughts I have on belief, particularly Christian belief.

There are a lot of un-believers in this world. In a way I don’t blame these people.  A lot of people do not believe what is preached in church (or synagogue or mosque or temple).  let's face it, there is a lot of misunderstanding and misinterpretation of what is written in the Bible by some preachers that are supposed to be the ones to know. Also the conduct of some of these priests once they are away from the pulpit, can turn people away too.

I am sure that some of these preachers must know and understand why some people have turned against their faith. But at the same time, I would say that their faith couldn’t have been that ingrained in their mind to lose faith the way they have.

I really believe that some of what is written in the Bible was hearsay, the reason being, according to a book I received from a Christian organization, about how the third world countries came about.

In that book it stated that the Apostle Paul was the only one that could read and write. So I take it to be that what was said by Jesus was reported to him by the other disciples,  he wrote those things down. Now, people in those days, couldn’t have been any different, than we are today. Some would forget what was really said and then repeated their own version of what they thought was meant by what they had heard. Plus the language that was used at that time was different.  All the translation into different languages with different words added because the true words that could not have been translated could have seriously changed what a sentence or a full chapter meant.

Whatever the reason, I personally am a true believer and I still believe that an invisible deity called God created all the landscape, beautiful scenery, the human species and everything that we have today except what was made by man. I’m beginning to believe that a lot of people believe more in Satan than the Creator of all things. To believe in God is to believe in good things. To believe in Satan is to believe in bad things. Some countries even have churches of Satanist beliefs.

I didn’t write this to change peoples minds, because at the end of times, we will find out who was right in their belief and who was wrong.  I don’t want to be on the wrong side because first of all we are living in a hellish world already and I don’t want to live in another one when I stand in judgment by the big boss.

That is my beef and opinions of the day. May God bless us all?

Have a good day.

All about beliefs [Part 1 of 2]

When browsing through different internet sites this morning, I happened to see this article about Atheists pushing their agenda.
American Atheists, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, has started 2014 with an aggressive push, filing a legal challenge to the Ten Commandments displayed on Oklahoma state capitol grounds and taking out billboards in Utah targeting the Mormon faith.

The group is increasingly being joined by other atheist organizations in challenging public displays of religion and demanding equal access for their viewpoint.

For example, administrators with the University of Wisconsin-Extension this month ordered that all 137 of its Gideon Bibles be removed from guest rooms at the campus Lowell Center, after a group composed of "freethinkers: atheists, agnostics, and skeptics of any pedigree" questioned their presence.

The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) said that since the school was partially funded by public dollars, the placement of the Bibles in visitors' nightstands violated the Constitution because it could be interpreted as a government sponsorship of religion.
Reading this article, I felt compelled to write what I’m going to write about a couple subjects, one of which I think might offend some people.

First of all, I agree that anything that would suggest any kind of faith should not be on government properties. Government should not be in a position to promote any kind of religion. The government is for the people and many citizens have their own beliefs about the different preaching as to what is and what is not and how the world was created. People have different beliefs about how it all started and the creation of the human species. All these different beliefs in the West at least, derive mostly from different interpretations of the Bible, because of the way it was written.

Now some politicians have made it their business to change some of the laws that are in the Bible. For instance, marriage should be between man and woman only. Some politicians have changed this law into marriage within the same sex which is now allowed in some countries. Changing how a society operates is one thing, but telling people of a certain faith that they must alter their faith is as unfair as putting something of a particular faith on government property.  It is suggestive of a certain way as being more right than others.

Incest. Now this is the one that will offend some people. For this part I’m only writing about what is preached by most Christian religion. Most preachers talk at some point about how the human species was created. Apparently God picked up some dust and blew oxygen on it and man was created. He then took a rib from Adam and created a woman and called her Eve.

Now Adam and Eve lived in a place called the Garden of Eden and they had 2 kids. Specifically, they had 2 boys named Cain and Abel. Now if Adam and Eve only had 2 boys where do the other women come from?  To me it would mean that Eve had to have more than 2 boys but was not impregnated by Adam. And that is where the incest comes in and it’s also the reason why the preachers preach that we are brothers and sisters and that’s why man has made it a law prohibiting incest (which is a good law). As the only law that is in the Bible in fact is a commandment that says “thou shall not covet thy neighbor’s wife.

What I’m getting at, is that it doesn’t matter whom a person marries and you have intercourse you are committing a crime called incest, because according to the Bible we are all brothers and sisters.

There is a belief by a lot of people that kids born out of incest that there would be something wrong with them either mentally or physically. I didn’t believe that before but to see and read and hear what is going around in this world these days I am inclined to believe it.

Either that, or this is one of those interpreting the Bible problems I mentioned above.

Condemning without knowing.

Some people make me sick in their way of making statements, without knowing the true facts of what they are talking about. I would also state that some people can’t tell the difference between smoke and vapor. This is for the ones that can’t tell the difference between smoke and vapor. Well here it is. Smoke is heavy and lingers and vapor after a couple of seconds disappears.

I would like you especially the non-believers of the e-cigarettes, to watch this video above. Then you might see the benefits to a person leaving the tobacco product to start smoking these e-cigarettes.

According to reports the big tobacco companies add 4000 to 5000 chemicals to tobacco cigarettes that are dangerous to your health. But the nicotine that you get in e-cigarettes does not contain those chemicals -- it’s clean. When a person smokes tobacco cigarettes you can really smell the residue of all those chemicals, plus its smoke that come out and not vapor like the e-cigarettes. Yes, if a person smokes say Canadian tobacco (an e-cigarette falvour), you will smell a slight smell of nicotine but it doesn’t linger on as a couples seconds later it’s gone.

Another benefit to smoking those is that you can reduce the strength of nicotine and finally reduce it to nothing except vapor, in which case you have been smoking those for so long that your body finally rids itself of the nicotine and your yearning for smoking as finally left you and better health is on the way. You can order different flavors to be added and if you happen to smell the vapor of these whether it is watermelon, banana or whatever else, you will be able to tell of what fruit the person is evaporating.

The reason it’s called evaporating, is because of the mix. It’s heated by a battery and when a person takes a drag the only thing that comes out is vapor and not smoke. When a person starts smoking those cigarettes and inhales the person gets the same sensation at the back of the throat as if he/she was inhaling the smoke of tobacco.  That is another reason beside the nicotine being a drug that smokers have a lot of trouble quitting the smoking of tobacco.

These days, there are different companies that have products on the market to stop smoking. That is if you don’t have heart problems and most of them are labeled if you have heart problems, consult your doctor before using. I wrote a post not too long ago about e-cigarettes. Read it and you will see why I started to smoke these e-cigarette.  The results I’m getting from them are terrific.  I was a heavy smoker.  I was and also declared dead in the hospital before which was a result of a severe health issue I had that resulted from smoking tobacco cigarettes. You will also read the problems of smoking the tobacco cigarettes I got into.

Now after almost 2 months I haven’t touched nor have a yearning to smoke those tobacco cigarettes and my lungs are getting better.  My kidneys are improving and so is my heart. No more choking in the middle of the night, I don’t choke when I take a deep breath and the coughing fits I used to experience have disappeared.

I would appreciate it and you would be doing yourself a favor if you would check my other rant -- there is also a diagram that show you how the e- cigarettes work.

That is my rant of the day

Have a good day.

Well what do you know?

Will wonders ever cease? For the first time that I can remember, I have finally heard the truth coming out of a politician's mouth. Of course, it turns out it's not a politician in the White House.
Russian President Vladimir Putin runs rings around President Barack Obama “on the world stage,” Mitt Romney says.

In an interview with NBC News published Friday, the former GOP presidential nominee made it clear he’s still no big fan of Obama’s foreign policy.

"I think Putin has outperformed our president time and time again on the world stage," Romney bluntly commented.

Romney took specific aim at the president’s handling of National Security Agency secrets-leaker Edward Snowden and of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad. The former NSA contractor has been granted a year’s political asylum in Russia, where he now lives.

"We are, and I've said this before, geopolitical adversaries," Romney said of Russia. "Not enemies but adversaries geopolitically. And Putin lines up with Assad and gave Assad the cover that he needed and won a diplomatic battle with regards to Syria."
I wrote a post not too long ago in reference to the discussion between Obama and Putin with respect to Syria and who had won.  In a similar post, I remember saying that the countries that are friendly with the USA would not surprise me if they would start looking to Russia instead.  If they needed help on diplomatic problems they would consider Russia, as Putin has shown that his way of using diplomacy has more sense than the supposed-to-be-leader of the USA. Like I mentioned before, because of Putins diplomacy, a lot of trouble was averted with regard to the chemical weapons that Syria has (or had). I say has or had because I haven’t heard or read any more about them wither they were taken out or destroyed.

That’s my rant and opinions of the day.

Teaching school kids about sex - inappropriately.

This is hard to believe.

I've written a lot about what the kids in the schools in America are being taught. Apparently what the kids are being taught is completely different from what they are sent to school to learn. There have been so many examples, and now there's yet another to be concerned about.

Reading everything that is reported on the conduct of the teachers and what they are teaching kids, it seems that reading and writing are not the teacher’s main subjects. What seems to be on the curriculum however, does include anti-Christianity, how to dress, how long or short students' hair should be, wearing t-shirts with a picture on it only if the teacher approves of it. I've written in previous posts about those very issues. By going back to some of my older posts, you will see that it would appear that those kids are thought how to become dictators and racists. And now it's about x-rated sex.
A Kansas father said he was shocked after he discovered his 13-year-old daughter’s health curriculum included references to vaginal intercourse, anal sex, and touching each other’s genitals.

“I got furious,” Mark Ellis, of Shawnee, Kan., told me. “And I’m still worked up about it.”

Ellis’ daughter is an eighth grade student at Hocker Grove Middle School in the Shawnee Mission School District. Last week, she came home from school and showed her parents a photograph she had taken of a poster on a classroom door.

“How do people express their sexual feelings?” the poster read. Underneath the question was a list of possible answers. Some were G-rated, like hugging, holding hands and talking. But there were also some NC-17 answers like “vaginal intercourse, anal sex, touching each other’s genitals, oral sex, sexual fantasy and caressing."
And now not only are the kids being told what not to wear and about their hair etc., the parents are even told what to feed their kids in their lunches -- it has to be approved by the school. I've also written about how some of those kids are suspended on a teacher’s whim and that some students were suspended by teachers after the teachers heard that the kids were shooting a pellet gun at home -- not even on school property. If this is not being dictators what is it?

Now some people are asking “why would a kid go into a school and start shooting people.” I would say those are schools that are focused on teaching stupid things instead of the basics, and instead of being concerned about children's well-being and bullying, they are more concerned about advancing their own agenda.

And that agenda includes teaching children about things they are not necessarily prepared to handle - like this extreme sex education stuff.

That is my rant of the day.

I am a believer in ghostly appearances.

I am a believer in ghostly appearances. The reason is that I have had the experience of a couple manifestations of people that I knew before them leaving this world.

I am a senior citizen and because of that, I try to keep my mind as active as possible because I don’t want to "lose it" like a lot of seniors do, for lack of not keeping my mind alive by under-using it. To keep my mind occupied I will sit and start thinking about things and even do math problems in my head. When I get bored of this, then I put on paper the problems I more or less stored in my head. Then I try to blank my mind and think about certain people that have passed away.

What I’m going to say on what I did next scared the hell out of me. This was about 2:30 a.m. and I couldn’t sleep. Lying down on my bed I started thinking about my grandmother who had passed away a long time ago. I remembered how she looked and spoke, and how she would chase my grandfather with her broom for doing what he shouldn’t have been doing.

I was so engrossed in my thinking that, whether it was my imagination or not, she was standing there just staring at me. It felt very real. Like I said it scared the hell out of me, because she wasn’t the best looking woman in the world and to me as a kid at the time that I was living with her she seemed like a witch.

Whoever reads this, I would suggest that if you try this start thinking about someone that has passed away (one that will not scare the hell out of you) and see what happens. See if you can tell if it is imaginary or not. I couldn't say for sure either way, but I know what I think it was. Keep in mind though, that the place has to be really quiet with no noise whatsoever, or it will disturb your concentration. If your concentration was really deep you will have some sort of result. You should also be relaxed and have your body is in a comfortable position.

That is my rant of the day.

Looking at videos.

Looking and videos, I saw this (click the link if the video does not appear for you).

Stop all wars - that is what the president of the USA says he wants to do. So this supposed to be leader, the first war he decides to stop was the Iraq war.  I would say the soldiers who lost their lives and the ones who were wounded but still live (even though some are in bad shape, having lost their legs and/or arms) have seemingly had their sacrifices disregarded pursuit of in his notion.

He also stated that Al-Qaida had been pushed out of Iraq. I wonder if people like him don’t realize that you never walk away from a bunch of killers and torturers. With these sorts of people, the only way to really stop them is to end their miserable lives.  They will not stop simply because America left Iraq.  They will regroup, and they will come back.  They will re-grow and come back at America. In other words, he says the war in Iraq is over, but it isn't really.  Not for Iraqis, nor for Americans.

Now after all the loss of lives and wounds for life, of those that served in that region of the world, really seems to have been for nothing. Al Qaida has came back in Iraq just as strong as ever if not even stronger.

I would like to ask president Obama, if he really conferred with the colonels or generals that fought in that region before stopping this war. I doubt very much that these veterans would have agreed to pulling out of Iraq when they did. These veterans would know that you can’t walk away from this and expect that there won't be consequences later on. They know that if you kill one, more join them. It seems that there is no end to the amount of them that are willing to engage in jihad.

Yes, stopping all wars and the over-use of diplomacy is good protection for those Jihadists, as I see it. That is why I say when this guy’s term is up, I hope the people will elect someone that is aware of how decisions are made on foreign policy and especially when it comes to taking action. Because from all the reports and videos that I watch, I would say that this world is on the brink of a Third World War.  Perhaps it will have a slow build up as Jihadists try to regain their strength and numbers, but there is no visible decline in the root fanaticism that leads to war.

On the other hand, once it gets into full swing, I can safely say that the next war will not linger on for too long. Nuclear weapons will be used (once Iran has them ready) and that will destroy everything and the survivors will suffer and eventually die a painful death.

That is my rant of the day.
