Mad as hell!

I was born and have spent most of my life in Ottawa Canada.  I'm 76 now, a big portion of those years were Ottawa years. Every morning I listen to the radio station  C.F.R.A  The talk shows I listen to run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.  Most of the time some one will criticize Quebec for something. 

Lately its been about the recent election. Mostly it has been because of a Conservative who was not re-elected.  It also seems as if we are to blame for  the NDP as the opposition party. I guess we are the only ones that voted for the NDP - no one from the other provinces voted NDP. We the people of Quebec must be just as stupid as the people of Ontario that voted in a provincial Liberal Government twice and still criticize it. 

The Premier that they have elected twice is just as bad, if not worse, than Mr. Bob Rae was. I guess  most of the citizens on both side of the Ottawa river have not realize yet that all politicians have a good fairy tale to tell when its election time. But once elected they suffer a lost of memory.  I also guess that the people from Ontario do not realize that it’s the politicians that are always talking about separation from the rest of Canada and not the ordinary citizen. Now we have done away with the politician that was always talking about separation but we haven't heard any more about that. It seems that we in Quebec can not do anything right. I must say that here in Quebec our councilors don’t treat us as if they were our mommies and daddies. We do not have neighbors that call about the by-law because they don’t like what their next door neighbor is doing in his own back yard.

We don't have to worry about the by-law officer coming with his little writing pad already to write out the complaint. And we do not have to make room for all kinds of containers for different types of recycling. We have three: one for garbage,  only one for recycle and one for composting.  As far as police checking our garbage I know we're suppose to have them in Quebec, but they must be invisible because I have not seen one at all. 

If any one checks my garbage they better have gloves and not breath while checking because I have two dogs and one of them  has doo doo that is pretty big and stinky.

Here in this city we are free to pretty well do what we want as long as we don’t break the law. By the way we do not have stupid municipal by-laws  that prevent us from feeling free in our own city like they do in Ottawa. Furthermore our councillors realize that there are no money trees here. 

Those are the reasons that I left Ottawa in the first place. I could say a lot more but that’s enough for to-day. You want to comment your welcome but keep it clean. Hope you have a great day
