Time for a clean up of this country.

As usual I was listening to my favorite program the talk show on the radio station CFRA hosted by Mr. Lowell Green. What I heard was that a survey was asked to different Muslim about terrorist groups and 35% support  Al Qaida  and another percentage which I could not hear, supported other terrorist groups.

One example from a caller to the radio program, the man called himself just Ahmed, he claimed that a bomb should be dropped on Israel. Mr. Lowell Green has this taped. Now if this doesn't show that there is a potential of having terrorist groups starting up in this country, then what does?

Wouldn't you think that based to this survey (and others), that it's about time our politicians woke up and started looking at cleaning up this country? By that I mean weeding out these Muslims and send them packing back to their country, before this country is turned into a third world country with all the same types of killings that is being done in them.

I believe some of these Muslims are genuine in making a good life for themselves here, but what about the others who are for terrorist groups? Are they working here and sending some money back to their relatives and that money is then transferred to terrorist groups? Or are they getting  supplies for themselves to start a terrorist group here? Or both? There's a risk there.  I think our politicians should wake up to the fact that there is a potential for this to happen and before it does, a big clean up should be done. The sooner its done the less chance there is of this country becoming like a third world country with killings of innocent people because of a different faith.

Blabbering Idiots.

I like to listen to people having a good discussion, especially when there is no lull in the conversation. Suppose two people or more are having a discussion about any subject.  When one is almost finished talking, another one starts. That’s not to bad.  But when one has just stared talking and another one pops in and the two keep on talking at the same time, that raises  my blood pressure.

When you get more then two people then it becomes a bunch of blabbering idiots. Each one has to say what they have to say and there is no way that they are going to stop.  It doesn't matter if the other ones keep on talking.  It all becomes gibberish to the ones listening.

There's also the ones that if you asked them a question, they start mumbling and keep on going, even if you try to cut in because that person is not giving you an answer to your question.

On the talk shows that I listen to every morning, there's a lot of that.  The only way that some of them can be stopped is for the host to hang up on them. They're just like one of those toys that you wind up and it will not stop until the spring is at its end.

That’s my rant of the day.

Dual personality necessary?

If you don’t have the ability to develop a dual personality, then don’t apply for employment that would require you to be involved with the public every day.

If at your work you are involved with the public, you soon realize that some people will treat you as if you are a  robot without any feelings whatsoever, with no personal problems. If you are employed by the federal, provincial or municipal government your wages are paid by the taxes collected from the public you will always have someone that will say "you work for me, I pay your wages". Here is a perfect example of what I’m talking about in less then two weeks in Ottawa.

One bus driver blew up at a rider and  he was dismissed from his job and a couple days after another bus driver just left his bus running on a bridge and walked out, telling the riders to take another bus. This was brought on by a rider asking him a question and the rider acting as if he were the driver's boss. Instead of the driver getting involved in answering the rider's question and maybe preventing an argument he just got off the bus. Smart move.  This might have saved his job.  Like I said, some of these people don’t realize that a bus driver is also human and has problems like every one else.  the bus driver is also tasked with the responsibility of making sure that these riders make it safely to their destination.  That itself can be nerve-racking some times.

You never know one of these days an employee of the OTC might do a repeat of some years back, when an employee went in and start shooting up the place. I hope it never happens, but with the stress that these employees are confront with every day it could repeat.

That is my rant of the day.

Response to a comment.

This is in a reference to a comment that was made by another blogger in response to a post I wrote. The post was about the President not mentioning God in his Thanksgiving speech. This was his comment:

“However, I don't agree that Christians should keep quiet. They tried that in Rome and got fed to lions. Christians stating their opinion, where it contradicts the president is completely acceptable.”

I agree in a sense that it was a good response but that was in the old days. The civilization in those days, if you want to call it that, was not as civilized as we are today.

This is the 21st century.  I’m not saying those so called Christians should be punished for saying what they believe. I’m just saying to keep their thoughts to themselves and when election time comes then try to make a change for what they believe. Myself I believe in the words of the Bible and in one of the commandments it says “Though shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor”.

Now some of what they accuse him of might and might not be true - who knows? These days, wagging tongues work overtime and sometimes it's jealousy that makes them wag. And it could be something else that I will not mention.

As far as him doing the job that he was elected to do, I could not say if he does or not

That’s my rant for today.

Did you know the smartest animal in this world and is loved by most people is a dog because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

Ahmedinejad emboldened

Eh, I don't care.

Iranian leader Ahmadinejad must feel protected.  He hears reasons by some in the West and at the U.N., and from China and Russia as to why Iran should not be attacked.  This just encourages him to do what he wants.  He must be thinking he can do anything he wants and Iran will not be attacked.

All this unnecessary reporting of this situation and these responses only makes matters worse.  He knows that nothing will be done about it. I think as long as he has this in mind he will do what he wants and he will continue to get away with it.

Boats of the American coast, building nukes, suppressing his own people,  threatening to annihilate Israel - all of that is apparently okay.  His behaviour won't change until the reaction to his crazy behaviour changes.

That’s my rant for today.

No mention of God.

On Fox news I read all the comments by some people that call themselves Christians. According to the Bible a good Christian is not supposed to cause any harm to others physically or mentally. I read about President Obama omitting God in his Thanksgiving address. That's un-Christian. I will say that was wrong of him to do that. It was also wrong for some of you to blast him as you did, that is un-Christian as well.

Some of the people that commented are suppose to be Christians. I guess their kind of Christianity is different from real Christians, because a real Christian would keep his or her thoughts to themselves until the time came that they could do some thing about what they think instead of stooping to name calling of all sorts.

I am not an American, but I read and listen to the news. Instead of blasting this President why don’t you keep your thoughts to yourselves and when election time comes, then you have your choice of who you want the President to be.

In the meantime, show your Christianity by keeping you thoughts to yourself. Some times a person will criticize others with good reasons as far as they are concerned but there are other times that criticism comes back to you, doubly.

I know what I’ve written here will offend some people but it was not meant to be offensive. As a Christian I tried my best to write this as politely as I could.

Any comments? Write them down but please keep it civilized.

Have a good day.

Innocent until proven guilty

To my way of thinking, and to most people in the western world, a person should be considered innocent of a crime unless proven guilty. If someone is caught in the act then locked up until their court date, that is when the person accused will try and prove themselves to be innocent of the crime.

OTC driver

Just recently it’s been reported on the radio and in the Ottawa Citizen that an OTC bus driver abused a rider verbally with a physical threat and using foul language   A video was taken of this and supposedly posted on youtube. com  as well as on twitter. I heard the video when it was played on the radio station CFRA minus the foul language.

Could it be?

The end of the world is approaching according to predictions that have been going around lately. Or once again.  Well I don’t know about that, but if you have been reading the news and listening to reports from the people quoting the Bible, it says that before the end of the world arrives there will be storms, like we never seen before, disease that can not be cured and just recently one disease has been discovered that there is no cure for it

So far we have had all this stuff happen and we're still getting them.  There have been earthquakes - recently in Quebec here, we  a little one (4.1 magnitude).   Recently  Afghanistan and Pakistan had a 5.5 earthquake and Oklahoma had a 5.6 magnitude one.  There's also been a lot of flooding going on. I’m beginning to wonder if these guys are right in their prediction of the end of times.

I guess when it happens a lot of us will not have to pay for any more heat in the winter.  So maybe it's not so bad.

That’s my rant of the day.

Euthanasia

An elderly person 60 years old or older, that is always sick and can’t take care of himself or herself should be allowed to be  euthanized  if ask for by the patient..  As long as the patient has the full capacity of his or her brain and the advice of at least two doctors that there is no chance of recovery of his or her sickness or  because of the effects of his or her age.

Then this person could die with dignity and make room for another that the doctors might be able to save. This is only if the patient asks for it and not the relatives unless the doctors agree and not the relatives' doctor.

But it has to be the ones hired by the hospital because a relative could be heir to the estate (if there is one) and have no love for the patient but a desire for the estate. I know a lot of people would be against this because the Bible says thou  shall  not  kill. But to me it would not be death of anger or hate but in helping someone to die with dignity.

That is my rant of the day.

Canada and the USA

In the past, Canadian relations with the United States used to be A1, but because of those Liberals from the past being anti-American, friendly relations have dropped considerably.

A law that should not exist.

In the USA they have a law that says a  president can only serve two terms. I find this law bizarre if I can use that word. It means when you have a good president that has the country running like it should be and an election comes up after two terms, no matter how good he or she is, out they go. Now you can see what this law can do.

Pollution

Are we polluting the earth with chemicals?  Since the beginning of the world, humans were being buried once deceased or some were cremated one way or another. At some point came crematoriums and embalming fluids. Nowadays whether a person is berried or cremated the embalming fluid is used.

Brainless

This morning I was sitting by the computer which is next to my front door. The door was wide open and all of a sudden I heard little voices. I looked out and what I saw was a woman walking in front of about a dozen kids, all hanging on to a rope to make sure they all stayed together. I would say that this is a good way to keep all the kids together but there was no adult in the back to make sure that all the kids held on to that rope.

I find this kind of stupid because any kids could of let go and run out onto the street. I would say these kids would be about 5 to 6 years old.  Any one of them could of let go and run to catch a little kitten or puppy. Kids of that age can’t be trusted to do what they are told to do. When it comes to a cute kitten or puppy they have a mind of their own. They wouldn't care about an automobile coming down the street . They  could easily run in front of it.

If I ever see this again, I will follow and see where this lady goes with these kids and report her. She needs to be reported for being careless and brainless.

That’s my rant of the day.

Liberals again.

Here we go again. The Liberals showing once more that if they were in opposition, it would become a cat and dog fight and this government would not get anywhere.

Volume control

Televisions and radios should all be made so radio and TV stations can’t boost the volume when commercials come on.

Back in 2010, President Obama signed a law to stop it in the U.S.;
President Obama has signed a new law requiring TV broadcasters to back down on the volume of those pesky commercials that suddenly blast your eardrums.
But the laws don't take effect until December of this year.  I know the law in Canada is supposed to take effect in September 2012.  They won't be allowed to boost the volume but we still get it now.  The changes can't come soon enough.  It's enough that as it is we are paying to watch commercials instead of TV programs (as it is we get about 20 to 21 minutes of a half hour program) so we don’t need those commercials blasting out.

Quebec - Here we go again

Everything in French and French only.
Politicians are at work again. This politicians want to rebuild the Bloc Quebecois again.I read this in the French newspaper the other day.

Just what we need - more French sovereignty. More French, more French, more French.

Dumb, dumb, dumb.

These politicians here in Quebec are so scared that the French language will some day disappear that they don’t stop to think and ask themselves "Do we have what is necessary to go on our own?"

Beautification

Beautification - I don’t know if this is the right spelling of the word but it's when the Pope declares a person a Saint.  So why do I want to talk about that?

Football saints are called saints too.
Something puzzles me about saints.  I  remember when I was a kid, we were always told that a Saintly person is perfect.  In other words without sin and/or did not do anything that would be against Jesus' teachings.  The other thing I recall is that you could pray to that saint to obtain favours.  But this happens only once the person has passed away.

What I’m wondering is how do they know if that person is like what they say?  How does he or she qualify for sainthood? It's only because the Pope says they are a saint that they become one.  Do they follow that person around 24 hrs a day, even when that person is sleeping?  That person could be putting on a good front when with other people but inside be just as bad as the next person. The actions when they are alone, the thoughts that they have, could be all different then what everyone else sees from that person. This doesn’t make any sense to me. If any catholic priest reads this and can explain it to me I would really be interested. Mind you I’m not being sarcastic just curious because I can’t see any sense in that.
