Ignorant.

No soup for you!
Yesterday, I found something really interesting and I must say stupid about starving kids.
Stop feeding starving children, or else!

The American Humanist Association sent that message to a school in Robbinsdale, Minn., accusing them of violating the U.S. Constitution by allowing students to participate in a community service project at a church that involved preparing meals for impoverished children in Haiti.

The humanists got their britches in a bunch after the family of a student at the School of Engineering and Arts objected to the project being held at Calvary Lutheran Church.
On the site instead of writing starving children they wrote starting (a typo I guess).

Just because this work is done by Christians, these "humanists" (I would say idiots)  would rather see children die of starvation than be fed just because of their humanist non-beliefs and anti-religion agenda.

I could write a lot more on this but this is really basic stuff.  Not to feed hungry children because of a religious institution is involved is ignorant.  What kind of people are they? I guess they are like Obama in that they don't believe in the Constitution as they would like to go against it. This has to do with the First Amendment of the Constitution. The church is exercising it's freedom in helping these children.  Leave them alone!

If you don't like it, start your own counter-charity and do more good than the church.  Use some common sense.

What’s on my mind today?

There are soldiers that have lost their lives for people that do not show any gratitude or respect for them. In countries that have asked for help, not only are some of the citizens guilty of this, but also government officials. In Afghanistan, leader Hamid Karzai is a great example of this.  The United States did not go to war in Afghanistan to protect him, but for their own reasons.  Nevertheless, they have spent countless billions trying to restore the nation and defend it from it's own Taliban extremists within.  Most of these countries it seems, want help in defending themselves against the Jihadists, but on their own terms only.  Most of these countries don’t want foreign troops on the ground.  At least not for long anyway.

These countries want help financially. They also want weapons but they don’t want troops on their land. The only recourse that comes to mind if we want to help them on their terms, would be to use drones or fighter jets to strike at targets strategically.  But then if a civilian is killed then they put up a fuss.  War is a dirty business and fighting terrorism is no different.  There are risks in fighting it, there are unfortunate casualties in fighting it.  But the alternative (giving up) is far worse of an option.
Some countries want to get help in getting the Jihadists out of their country, but then at the same time, it seems that they are protecting them by their own actions and words. President Karzai from Afghanistan can’t make up his mind about having some troops left in the country after most of the troops are pulled out. Does he think that the Jihadists will stop their rampage of murdering and torture just because the troops have left? By refusing to sign a deal with the U.S., it looks like he’s protecting the same people that are killing and torturing his people.

Pakistan, is another example.  How many years did they deny that Bin Laden was in their country? He was one of the worst Jihadists in the world. Pakistan was collecting aid from the United States all the while harboring the target the U.S. was after.  I guess it was a money maker for them to keep that up.

Jihadists need to be eradicated, make no mistake.  Some countries just don't seem to realize the danger of dealing with jihadists with half measures.  Jihadists either make it a sport of killing or torturing people because of the radicals that have supplanted Muslim faith with their own way of showing their faith in God. I would also say some are doing it just because they want to kill and torture and are using religion as their excuse.  If that doesn't make a case for really fighting terrorism to some of these countries, then probably nothing will.

That’s my rant of the day.

Have a good day.

Is free press on the way out?

If president Obama has his way, not only will citizens' privacy have been taken away when he's done, but  so would free speech and freedom of the press.   Fox News recently ran a story about what the administration wanted the FCC to start doing.
The FCC is launching a new study, taking upon itself the task of deciding what news the public “needs” to hear, versus the news the public wants to hear. The agency will conduct a “General Population Survey” that will “measure community members’ actual and perceived critical information needs.”

Got that? What you think (perceive) you need to know is different from what the government says you need to know.
Thankfully, it now looks as though the public backlash has caused them to rethink this dumb idea. Maybe it won't go through.

But I've mentioned before that in the future as neighbors we might have either a third world country or a communist one. I really believe it’s going to happen in the very near future if this supposed-to-be president is not stopped from implementing his agenda. What I would like to know isn’t there supposed to be a group in that administration that is supposed to speak on behalf of the citizens? If so where are they?

Why would the US want to purchase guillotines?

Does Obama intend to make a call to FEMA to start collecting people that don’t agree with his way of ruling the country? Previous to reading about this FEMA prisons, I listened to what Obama said during his State of the Union speech: “I have a telephone and a pen and if I have to use it, I will. Just one phone call” That sounded like a warning to what the citizens can expect if he doesn’t get his way. He's talking about using Executive Orders to bypass Congress to get things done his way. That's bad, but it gets a little scary when you look at this story.

Think about this; Why does the US government need 30,000 Guillotines and over 600 Million rounds of hollow point bullets?

There are over 800 prison camps in the United States. All fully operational and ready to receive prisoners. They are all staffed and even surrounded by full-time guards. But they are all empty. These camps are to be operated by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) should Martial Law need to be implemented in the United States and all it would take is a presidential signature on a proclamation and the attorney general’s signature on a warrant to which a list of names is attached. Ask yourself if you really want to be on THE list.

Whom to believe?

In a previous post I stated that if I ran across an article that I couldn’t comment on it at the time, I would bookmark it for future reference.

Today, since I didn’t know what to beef about I went to my bookmarks. I found this
Almost every man alive can trace his origins to one man who lived about 135,000 years ago, new research suggests. And that ancient man likely shared the planet with the mother of all women.

The findings, detailed Thursday, Aug. 1, in the journal Science, come from the most complete analysis of the male sex chromosome, or the Y chromosome, to date. The results overturn earlier research, which suggested that men's most recent common ancestor lived just 50,000 to 60,000 years ago.
Now I know that a lot of people have lost faith because some preachers' actions away from the pulpit have cast doubts on them and indeed religion as a whole. The lies and misinterpretation of some verses of the Bible have not helped. But if your faith is deep enough, by reading the article quoted above, you will not be deterred from what science has claimed to have discovered using DNA. Because what they apparently have discovered goes against what is written in the Bible.

These days it’s hard to believe what anyone says - especially when it comes to science. I’m not going to use the same words as they did but how can two people mate when they don’t know each other and live apart from each other? I will say even though I don’t believe what they have supposedly discovered it’s still interesting to read.

The Iranians and their intent.

Iran's intentions.

Not too long ago I was reading about the Iranian ships leaving Iran to come to the American coast. From what I read, these ships are rust buckets and they don’t know if they will make it to the US border. The Iranians claim that it’s to show that they can reach the USA if they want to do so. So it's just to prove a point. According to what I have read it was to show their citizens that they are not scared of the USA. Of course they are not afraid. Why should they be? The road has been opened wide for them with the over-use of diplomacy. By the way this should be called the plow of Obama. Well Mr. Obama, Putin has shown that your plow has some defects and needs to be returned. By Obama's reasoning, he has averted a loss of lives and injuries in Syria with his plow (diplomacy).

Back to the Iranians. If the Iranians are not sure if these rust buckets can make it to their destination, how can they be sure that they would make it back? Maybe they aren't quite that bad, but my next question would be 'are they a suicidal crew'? Would they have something that they have been working on for a long time but the only way that it could be delivered is the way they are doing it now? If I were president, I would intercept them before they got near the border, the American submarines and all. If they won’t comply with the order to turn around, then the truth will be known about their intent. Then there will only be one thing to do. That would be to blast them out of the water, because they would be hiding something.

I can’t see the logic of the excuse that they have given. Why would they send ships that are rust buckets and endanger the lives of some of their own people, just to show that they can get close to the USA border? To me this sounds quite fishy.

Those are my opinions of the day.

Have a good day.

Keystone XL pipeline

According to what I’ve read, it seems by the way that it’s written that Obama is the only one to blame for not giving the okay for the pipe line. I would disagree with that thinking. I would rather think that some Democrats and Republicans might have some interest with some competitors and are willing to sacrifice the creation of jobs for the American people because of their greed for money.

I would say it would be safe for them to blame Obama. It seems to have become a fad on blaming him for almost everything that has gone wrong since he was elected. Myself, I wouldn’t trust him. Could it be that because of his yes men, he hesitates to put his name on the dotted line as he wouldn’t want to offend anyone?

If what I’m claiming the reasons to be for Keystone XL not going ahead are true, then it’s true that some people have no regards for the welfare of the nation, preferring to serve their own wallet.  These sorts of people have no business being in a position where they can put themselves ahead of the good of the nation.

Obama has done enough things he can be blamed for and doesn’t need any help to be partly blamed for something that he might want to do.

That is my rant and my opinions of the day.

Yet another school complaints I have

Things are still getting worse in schools in America. Not all schools. But there's a growing problem. That needs to be addressed.  My guess is they won't be addressed.

Things are really getting bad when a school tells students that they can’t celebrate America. This is outright brainwashing.
Students and parents at a Colorado high school are outraged after administrators turned down their request for a spirit week day honoring America because it might offend non-Americans.

“They said they didn’t want to offend anyone from other countries or immigrants,” a 16-year-old member of the student council told me. “They just really did not want to make anyone feel uncomfortable.”

The student council at Fort Collins High School had proposed having a day to celebrate the United States during next week’s Winter Spirit Week. The young people pitched “’Merica Monday” – and invited their classmates to dress in patriotic colors. Their proposal was promptly shot down by administrators.
This is what happens when a minority effectively becomes the majority, by the sheer volume and continuity of their special agenda complaints. It's especially galling when soldiers are putting their lives at risk defending the very freedom of speech that is clearly being abused by some. If any immigrant feels left out because of students wanting to celebrate their country on a certain day then those immigrants should not be here in the first place. They came to America to live, or at least temporarily to work or learn. Clearly they want to be there. No one is twisting their arm to stay. So if they really are that offended then they are being hypocritical. They are taking advantage of the benefits without any level of appreciation for their hosts or their new country. If that's the case they should be sent back to whence they came. In the case of the school, I would say including the parents.

I am so disgusted with the way this world has turned out to be these days. To me the end is not coming fast enough to prevent all of us from becoming insane with this political correctness garbage. For things to be as crazy as they are I can imagine that in the not too distant future, a student with nice white teeth will not be able to smile at students that have yellow teeth because they might be offended.

American schools keep getting it wrong.

Item 2. Lunches.
Today I have a couple of more things to rant about with respect to American schools, because they keep doing things wrong.  I realize that these items may be isolated incidents but there are so many of them that keep popping up, that there must be something fundamentally wrong with the underlying education system in America.

Here's another example of what is still going on.
A California elementary school is facing a possible lawsuit after a teacher allegedly confiscated a six-year-old child’s Christmas candy canes and told him “Jesus is not allowed in school.”

Last December, Isaiah Martinez brought his first grade classmates at Merced Elementary School candy canes. Attached to each treat was a message explaining the religious legend surround the candies. The legend references a candy maker who created the candy cane to symbolize the life of Christ.

When the six-year-old boy arrived at school, his teacher noticed the religious message and immediately confiscated the gifts, according to Robert Tyler, the general counsel for Advocates for Faith & Freedom.

The teacher, identified by the AFF as Valerie Lu, then consulted with the supervising principal who instructed her to prevent Isaiah from distributing the candy canes.
I don’t remember so much of this going on in the schools against religion with previous presidents. Don’t get me wrong I’m not blaming Obama for this kind of behavior in schools and everywhere else. But he's certainly not busy calling schools out for it the way he is busy demonizing American business. He's got his priorities wrong, and it shows when these sorts of stories pop up again and again.

Here's yet another example.
A New Jersey mother says her fifth grade son’s school has repeatedly taken her child’s lunch and thrown it away over unpaid cafeteria balances -- despite having apologized for doing as much in the past.

“This to me is a form of bullying," Amy Ross told NBC 10 after the latest incident, earlier in January, involving her 10-year-old son, Jake, who has a form of autism called Asperger’s Syndrome, and officials at Smithville Elementary School in Galloway Township, N.J. “It’s between the parents and the cafeteria. It’s not between the child and the lunch lady. Let the kids eat their lunch."

Ross’s questioning of the school comes the same week the Salt Lake School District in Utah made headlines for doing the same thing.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports Uintah Elementary School officials in Salt Lake City replaced about 32 elementary school students' $2 lunches with fruit and milk on Tuesday because of insufficient or negative balances.

The Tribune cites a school district spokesman as later explaining cafeteria workers could not tell who was behind on their lunch accounts until after a child was given their food.

Once a child showed a negative balance, the already-issued lunch was reportedly confiscated and thrown away for sanitary reasons.

"I think it’s despicable," Erica Lukes, whose 11-year-old daughter saw her lunch replaced, told the paper. "These are young children that shouldn’t be punished or humiliated for something the parents obviously need to clear up."
What's missing from these schools is common sense.  And it appears to me to be getting worse and worse.

Why so many killings?

Every day I go to different sites to read the news from different countries. But the only site that I can find that gives me news from a third world country is Dawn.com. I don’t know if it's religion-oriented or just some radicals that make their own laws in regards to their religion and uses their killings as an excuse to show their faith.

What a person can expect when going to this site is about someone getting shot or blown up. I can’t comprehend the justification for these killings and blowing up ones self just to kill other people. I look at it this way: if you build a house to your liking, after it’s done someone comes along who doesn’t like the style of it and blows it up, are you going to find the person and hug him/her or them because they blew up your house? I am guessing your answer is 'no'.

The human species was created by God and by killing a human you are killing one of the many things that God has created. When it will be your time to leave this world and on Judgment Day, do you think that God will hug you and say you are welcome to my Kingdom? Or will He say you have destroyed one of my creation so to the incinerator with you. I was thought that there was only one God and that He was a forgiving and loving God and that He is for love an peace. But I doubt if His forgiveness would be strong enough to forgive someone that destroyed what He created in the image of His Son?

Those are my opinions of the God I was brought up to believe in.

Have a good day.

Free speech? There is no such thing as free speech.

There is no such thing as free speech. When I hear people say you’re allowed to say what you have on your mind, I disagree. Sure you can say what you have on your mind but there are some laws that can be broken by saying what is on your mind. These days, if you say something that someone doesn’t agree with, you can be brought to court and sued for it. You can also offer your opinion on some things and obtain the same result.

These days in order to make sure that you don’t get sued for using what they call free speech, or offering an opinion, you would have to actually do an investigation of the facts before making any kind of statement. Then the person doing this could be charged with invading a person’s privacy by investigating that person privately. Now, where is this free speech that people are talking about?

To me, free speech is just like politicians when they make a statement, and in making their point they say “we have to think of the children’s future.” That is their way out for lack of anything else to say. Even friends can turn against you for making what they would call a bad statement just to advance themselves in a career or wanting another career.

In theory we have free speech, but there are so many restrictions on it that it doesn't really exist.  So I will suggest just saying so much when you talk. Then say no more on the subject. It can be too much of a risk for you.

If people nowadays don’t have the brain power to think and realize what is happening to free speech, I would say they are lost to this world of people who are too preoccupied to learn things that the schools don’t teach. The restraints on free speech also affects what you see on the news.  It's all done in politically correct ways.  News is news, facts are facts but when they get put through a filter it is not news anymore, it becomes opinion.  That's not a healthy way to keep the public informed.

That’s my rant of the day.

Have a good day.

Minimum Wage increase

What I can’t understand is why so many people are crying that minimum wage is too low. First of all, what people don’t realize is that if an employer has to pay his/her worker more money in order for that employer to keep his/her margin of profit he/her will have to raise the price on his/her product. So getting a raise in the minimum wage doesn’t amount to anything except to pay more for what you get plus more for income tax and sales tax. The government benefits from extra tax but for the wage earner, prices go up to offset the gains of the wage increase.  Plus taxes go up.  People may actually be worse off when the two effects are combined.

So can anyone tell me where the logic is in raising the minimum wage? This is why today the prices are sky high and also come tax time a person has to pay more income taxes too (more money, more income tax). Even a 25 cent per hour by the end of the year raises the amount of tax that you have to pay. So you get a raise and what happens?  You end up by paying more for a product and pay more taxes. The results are you get more money but pay out more so you have less to live on than you did before the minimum wage was raised.

The government doesn’t mind in raising the minimum wage per hour because by the end of the year they are the winners because of more taxes coming in. So the winner in all this the government. The losers are the workers.

Think about that before you yell for minimum wage increases.

That’s my beef for today.

What the priest tells us.

I’ve mentioned this subject before, in a previous post. When I was young and living with my grandparents, the priest of the parish would come to our school that was next to the church and talk to us about God. He used to tell us a lot of things about God. One thing that he said that I didn’t believe at the time was that "God said before the end of times come, people will deny my existence.” Now I’m beginning to think that he spoke the truth when he said that.

What is wrong with American teachers?

When I find something interesting in the news, I often can’t write about it at the time.  So I put it in my browser bookmarks for future reference. Today I went back and looked at some of those bookmarks that I didn't follow up writing about.  Today I will be writing about one of those items I bookmarked and forgot to get back to rant about, until now.

I know I've written a lot about the supposed-to-be-leader of the USA and also about some of the teachers in America.  There's a reason for that - they are both problematic.  With everything that I have read about the conduct of some school teachers in America, it’s hard to understand how anyone makes it through those schools and comes out the other end with a useful education and a good head on their shoulders.

I just wrote the other day about a school that is teaching about sex in a way that will make you scratch your head.  Today as I said, I checked my bookmarks to see what I had.  I found this:
A Missouri mother is outraged after her daughter's school district allegedly suggested the 13-year-old get a breast reduction to stop bullying.

Tammie Jackson said her daughter, a sixth-grade student at Central Middle School is being sexually harassed because of her breast size, Fox2Now.com reported.

When Jackson called the school district to complain she said a woman suggested to me, "to have my daughter get a breast reduction," she told Fox2Now.com.
Now mind you this was one year ago last month. I had to write about this one because it shows what kind of mentality on the part of teachers and principals that exists in some of these schools.  Now whether it be from teachers, or principals, I don’t care. Anyone with this kind of mentality should not be allowed to teach. That is the way I see it.

How would you like to be sending a thirteen year old daughter to a school and she is bullied by other students because the size of her breast and the school tells your daughter to get a breast reduction? I'm pretty sure any parent would be irate over that.

In the story, the daughter also told her mom that her brother was being bullied for the scars he had on his chest which were a result of heart surgery. I would say it’s a wonder the school didn’t advise the boy to have skin graft to stop the bullying.

That is my rant of the day.

Have a good day.

I think the time is coming.

Maybe my imagination is working overtime, but I doubt it. I think the time is coming The reason I’m saying this is because of everything that has been going on lately with respect to the way this world came to be. The existence of everything that we see - the lands, forests, lakes and oceans, the planets, moon the sun and the stars and whatever else that we know exists, and even things we can’t see - these things were not created by man but by an invisible deity.  A God which some people believe doesn’t exist and never did.

Some people refuse, to believe in the words of the Bible.  Many refuse to look at anything that would represent any kind of religious belief.  I’m not too sure of this, but isn’t there a passage in the Bible that says something like 'nearing the end of times most people will deny Gods existence?' Well if my memory is correct, then the end of time is coming.  In fact it would be coming faster than we would want to believe. Every day in the news we read about some people being unhappy to see signs that would represent any religious beliefs in any sort of public place.  According to some news, it seems that more people are turning to Satanist cults and some countries even have Satanists churches.

Well to my thinking on Judgment Day I really believe that the existence of God will come to the realization to these unbelievers as a reality. What I can’t understand is the belief that Satan exists but not God. My big question would be why? From what I was thought God is for good and Satan for evil, and cannot be seen the same as God.  But yet they believe in his existence. That really makes no sense to me.  Well folks as I stated before I’m not too much of a religious person myself, but hoping to be religious enough to be accepted in the Kingdom of God when its my time to leave this forsaken world and face judgment. And there will not be a lawyer qualified enough to defend you except the Son Jesus because only through Him will we get to the Father according to the Bible.

That is my rant of the day and may God bless us all.
