We’re in bad shape.

If you think that we are in bad shape politically you should read the blog Nonsensible Shoes. There you will see what I mean.  This blogger tells it as it is. He’s very much into American politics. Myself, I don’t write about politics too often but I really do like to read about it, especially when it comes to the USA. To read about politics in Canada is boring and drab.  There are issues I care about like the provincial Liberals and how they can bring down a province from have to have not. But if you want to see the mess that politics are in the USA, check out the site I mentioned above.

Most people know that politicians are good with words an can turn things around to make them sound believable.  I have a lot of things I could say about what I read on different stories in the news and  what I suspect of the current administration of the USA, but I don’t have the guts to put them on my site.  It's not an issue of free speech. There are also laws that constrain unlimited free speech and if I was to write down what I really think about the leadership in the USA, free speech could turn into something else. 

So while I comment on American news from time to time, I hold back.  Nonsensible Shoes is less worried than I am about the frightening reach of those he disagrees with.  It's interesting and worth a read.
