Parking -by-law officer

Ottawa parking.
On March the 9th at approx. 1:30 pm I had to go to Rogers wireless and tv store on the corner of Gilmore and bank street in Ottawa to return some equipment.

My friend parked around the corner of the store east on Gilmore.  There are parking meters there, but since there were no other cars around and I was only going in to return some equipment, we figured I wouldn’t be that long. I was in there for about five minutes and when I came out there was a parking by-law officer with my friend and my friend had to put in 3 dollars in the meter even though he explained to the officer why he was waiting.

Apparently he was told to insert $3.00 in the meter or he would have a $60.00 parking ticket.  My friend put the $3.00 in. He was just walking away when I came out.  It cost him $3.00 for about 5 minutes of parking. My friend was mad. I asked God to forgive my friend for not recognizing a robot when he sees one.

Here in Gatineau if we are not on the Internet and we have to pay our bill we have to run to Ottawa to pay our bill because Rogers is too cheap to open a place here in Gatineau sector of Hull.

I don’t know why they don’t because they have plenty of clients here and the balance of Gatineau

That’s my rant for today.

Have a good day.
